Venue

Vicki’s family farm near Stroud, Gloucestershire

Clients’ Requirements

Vicki and Dan asked us to create a bespoke structure that would optimise the views of the surrounding countryside. They were keen to incorporate a gin room, an outside seating / games area, and a large oval top table to seat all their family and bridal party.

Marquee Style

Vicki and Dan were keen to incorporate separate ‘rooms’ into their marquee, and a Clearspan was the obvious choice. The marquee site was located on a hill, and a cassette levelled floor enabled us to create a perfectly level marquee with a raised veranda area for outdoor seating. The marquee was accessed via steps which led into a 6m Oriental Canopy entrance marquee, from here guests entered the main 12m wide Clearspan marquee with Jasmine printed linings, round rustic bar, and starlit dance area hidden behind a reveal curtain. The gin room was set off to one side in another 6m Oriental marquee with rustic bars and bespoke rustic chandelier lighting.

Finishing Touches

With Vicki being an equestrian and Dan a keen cyclist the outside space was really important. As well as bringing her Shetland ponies along (Charlie and Archie were the talk of the wedding!), Vicki created an outside area with hay bales, fire pits and oak barrels.
