Bisley Marquees & Hire Company (Bisley Leisure Hire Ltd) was founded in 1997 in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Since then, the company has grown in size, knowledge, and expertise. We have enjoyed supplying many families, businesses, and celebrities with first-class marquees, furniture hire, toilets, refrigerated trailers and showers.
The Company Directors
Caroline and David Ashmead set up Bisley Marquees & Hire Company in 1997, and were joined by their son Chris Ashmead in 2008.
Caroline manages the day to day running of the business admin and Office Team, from overseeing events to keeping the company’s accounts in order. From time to time Caroline may also been found delivering trailer units or assisting the Marquee Team.
David heads up the toilet, fridge, generator and shower unit delivery team. When David isn't out on site making deliveries with his dog Florrie, he can be found maintaining our hire equipment, manufacturing bespoke hire items, or building and refurbishing our luxury toilet hire units.
Chris leads the Marquee Team, working out the logistics for transporting equipment to site, allocating the most appropriate team to each build, and overseeing our warehouse. Chris will be found on site most days involved with the marquee build process, carrying out site visits, or driving one of our Bisley lorries.
The Office Team
The office team is made up of Emily, Sarah, Rachel and Emily bringing between them a wealth of event and wedding experience to Bisley Marquees. The office team are on hand to assist you with every step of your event planning journey, they will work through the quoting process with you, meet you on site to discuss your plans and measure out your marquee. They are available for help and support and will answer any questions. The team enjoy getting creative and love nothing more than working on a challenging brief.
The Marquee Team
The Bisley Marquee Team includes Dan (Team Manager), Al, Ash, Frank, Laurie, Max and Mike as well as a number of seasonal staff who join us every summer. This skilled team have accrued many years of marquee erecting experience in both Clearspan and Traditional pole marquees, and ensure every build is completed to the Bisley Marquees exacting standards. Out of season the Marquee Team clean and maintain our equipment, manufacture bespoke items and oversee our PVC and lining washing facilities.
